In 2022, Major Bob, a Nashville-based management company known for developing artists like Garth Brooks, signed rising Washington talent Zach Top. Instead of following the traditional path of pushing music to labels, PR, and radio from day one, Major Bob partnered with Venture Music to take a more progressive approach. The goal was to first build a groundswell of organic, fan-driven momentum. This ensured Zach entered the industry with a dedicated audience already behind him.

Our Approach

Venture developed a fan-centric campaign to introduce Zach with authenticity rather than hype. The strategy leaned into his natural charisma, distinctive voice, and nostalgic aesthetic, with early content showcasing stripped-down performances in relatable, small-town settings. This positioned Zach not only as a talented newcomer but as a torchbearer for the soul of ’90s country music.

Fans responded quickly, with viral moments fueled by nods from stars like Luke Combs and Jake Owen. As Zach’s audience expanded, content evolved from intimate lo-fi videos to high-quality live show footage, giving new fans a real-time glimpse of his ascent. This momentum carried into 2024 with the launch of the Zach Top Fan Club, offering exclusive access and interactive activations to deepen fan engagement.
