In 2018, Big Yellow Dog partnered with Venture Music to promote “Better Off Gone” from Logan Mize’s LP Come Back Road. Although the song was over a year old, the label believed it had been overlooked during the original release cycle and wanted to test its potential with a targeted digital marketing strategy before committing to a larger PR and radio push.

Our Approach

We launched the campaign with a new music video to reignite interest and built ad spend strategies to maximize visibility. Early efforts focused on YouTube, where paid views were used strategically to jumpstart momentum. By generating consistent engagement, we were able to convert paid traction into organic algorithmic growth across platforms.

The campaign’s results exceeded expectations, with “Better Off Gone” becoming Logan’s top single across all platforms in just over three months, proving the power of targeted digital investment in reviving underutilized catalog tracks.
