Overview
In 2017, Moon Taxi left their label and became an independent band, partnering with Venture Music to manage their digital marketing. The first single released under this new chapter, “Two High,” became a breakout success, reaching 100 million Spotify streams in under three months and marking a pivotal moment in the band’s career.
Our Approach
Following the explosive success of “Two High,” our focus shifted to translating streaming momentum into fanbase growth, engagement, and ticket sales. We executed targeted social ad campaigns, contests, and giveaways to keep fans engaged and build excitement for upcoming shows. These efforts contributed to selling out the Put Em Up Tour (2017) and Let The Record Play Tour (2018).
When Moon Taxi signed with RCA, Venture continued to support the band by providing creative direction and marketing strategy for their LP Let The Record Play throughout 2018, ensuring the band’s growth carried forward into their new label partnership.
