Overview

Ben Schuller, one of the voices behind the YouTube gaming and entertainment network NerdOut, partnered with Venture Music to expand the reach of his single “Pretending – Acoustic,” originally released in June 2019. The goal was to introduce Ben to a broader and more relevant audience while leveraging his existing catalog for sustained growth.

Our Approach

We focused the campaign on “Pretending – Acoustic,” driving traffic to a curated This is Ben Schuller playlist that housed his entire catalog. This approach boosted overall streams and triggered both activation and reactivation of Spotify’s algorithm across multiple tracks.

Playlisting efforts, combined with targeted direct advertising, significantly increased visibility for the single. As a result, “Pretending – Acoustic” began growing organically, appearing in over 13K user-generated playlists.
