FiXT

Overview

FiXT, the independent record label founded by producer Klayton (Celldweller), has been a prominent force in electronic rock, industrial, and alternative metal. With a catalog surpassing 3.5 billion streams and a fanbase rooted in gaming, sci-fi, and comic culture, the label is known for its boundary-pushing music. In fall 2023, FiXT aimed to expand the reach of its curated Spotify playlists—New Noise, Rock & Metal, and My Metal Playlist—after growth had stalled. Partnering with Venture Music, the goal was to reignite momentum and scale playlist listenership through a cost-efficient ad strategy.

Our Approach

Working alongside FiXT’s in-house team, Venture developed a digital advertising campaign designed for sustained growth across playlists and catalog streams. Creative assets drew on FiXT’s distinctive visual identity—dark, cinematic, and ethereal—crafted to resonate with fans of rock, electronic, and hybrid genres.

Targeted campaigns ran across Meta and TikTok, using iterative testing to identify the highest-converting audience segments by genre interest and platform behavior. Real-time monitoring allowed for rapid optimization of creatives, budget allocation, and calls to action, ensuring continuous improvement and momentum throughout the campaign.

Key Results

  • Spotify playlist streams grew from 25K to 275K in 3 months (+1,100%)

  • 2,000 daily Shazams during campaign peak

  • Built a retargeting pool for future releases, merch, and label promotions

  • Established scalable, cost-efficient framework for playlist network growth
